Spooky stormy traces of love

For reasons I'm not entirely sure of this photograph shot while anchored in the Solent, England, in September of 2007 evokes the lyrics; "In the Cool of the evening when everything is getting kinda groovy"...  from the Classics IV Spooky,  music that is an integral part of my growing up, part and parcel
Of the music I love.  I had to post some videos of their lovely soulful music. I hope you enjoy.

The Classics IV was a band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, in 1965, given credit for beginning the "soft southern rock" sound. The band and its lead singer Dennis Yost are principally known for the hits "Spooky", "Stormy", and "Traces", released in 1967 to 1969, which have become cover standards.
